Michelle Newitt
I qualified as
a Nutritionist with a Higher International Diploma in Nutrition
in 2004 with The School of Natural Health Sciences, London.
I then went on to qualify as a Personal Trainer at The Fitness
Institute of Australia, Sydney in 2005. I gained Personal
Training experience at Ignite Health and Hiscoes in Sydney
and then went on to Les Mills and Northshore Leisure Centre
in Auckland, New Zealand. On returning to the UK in 2006,
I qualified as a Pre and Post Natal Trainer in London and
became a freelance Personal Trainer at LA Fitness, Brighton.
Since leaving LA Fitness and setting up HalinaPT, I have
qualified as a Boxercise Instructor and am due to further
this training with Kick-Boxercise certification.
My mission is to:
'Empower my clients and
build confidence through personal triumph'
My approach
As a Personal Trainer I will help you achieve your fitness
goals by providing structure, results, variety and motivation.
We will start with an initial consultation to assess your
current health and define your fitness goals either at your
home, or in one of my personal fitness training studios
in the Brighton area.
From the initial consultation we can structure your goals;
be it to lose weight, improve posture or simply get fitter.
This gives you an agreed starting point, and also a benchmark
against which to measure your progress. I will change your
training programme regularly, not only for variety, but
also to allow for continued progression. The programme will
be flexible, taking into account your commitments to work,
family and other activities.

I will show you how to manage your health and fitness with
balanced training programs and dietary recommendations –
all tailored to your specific requirements which will transform
your experience of diets and work outs forever. As a Nutritionist
as well, I will place a special emphasis on tailoring a
plan that is unique to you with as much tweaking and updating
as you need along the way. My support is there whenever
you need it.
Having a regularly scheduled appointment is great for maintaining
your motivation. Not only will you have your Personal Trainer
and Nutritionist to report back to, you'll also be taking
part in a structured and realistic fitness programme designed
to deliver maximum results in the minimum of time.
The emphasis will be on making exercise fun, so that you
have the motivation to not only meet, but exceed your goals.
The variety of exercises is almost endless, from running
to weight training, yoga to Boxercise, and can be conducted
outdoors, at your home, or at one of my Personal Training
studios in the Brighton area. A typical programme will generally
combine aerobic (CV), resistance (weights) & flexibility
to give you the workout that suits you best. With this much
flexibility combined with the benefits of exercise, there
is always something for everyone.
